I don’t understand how anyone can be as dumb and stupid as those in power in the US senate, the US House of Representatives, the cabinet and anybody who voted for them. I just don’t get it. Maybe I’m the dumb one.

That is nationalism.
And it seems the USA is the only western country not knowing … well, basically not knowing anything.
They succeeded in making the people dumb, because that’s easier for the fascists.
